Website accessibility

Accessibility Information

How we review the accessibility of our website and how you can report barriers.

Legal context and target

The current website offer is directed at companies and does not currently enable consumers to conclude contracts online. Whether future digital offerings fall within the German Accessibility Improvement Act will be reassessed against the relevant offering and statutory requirements. Independently of that assessment, EA is progressively aligning the website with WCAG 2.2 Level AA and the relevant web requirements of EN 301 549.

Current review status

Through 30 July 2026, key German and English pages were reviewed with automated and manual checks. The review covered keyboard and Tab operation, visible focus, navigation, forms, the consent dialog, screen readers, responsive presentation, and browser zoom at 200 and 400 per cent. Because such reviews always cover a selection of pages, devices, and assistive technologies, this information is not a declaration of full WCAG or BFSG conformity.

  • Skip link, landmarks, and localised navigation labels are present; the skip link moves focus to the main content
  • Consent can be granted, declined, and reopened by keyboard; focus remains predictable when the controls open and close
  • Contact forms have visible labels; required-field and email-format errors were checked in German and English with focus on the first invalid field
  • Representative German and English pages reflowed at 200 and 400 per cent browser zoom without horizontal page scrolling
  • German and English form journeys and desktop and mobile core pages were reviewed

Limits of the review

No review can cover every combination of content, device, browser, and assistive technology. Later changes can also introduce new barriers. If you encounter a problem, please tell us so that we can review it and, where possible, resolve it.

Report a barrier

If you encounter a barrier or need content in another accessible format, email mail@european-atlantic.com with the subject “Accessibility”. Please include the URL, device, browser, assistive technology, and a short description where possible. EA will review the report and provide information about possible remediation.

Information date

Created on 29 July and updated on 30 July 2026. The next scheduled review will take place no later than July 2027 and after material changes to navigation, forms, consent, or interactive AI functions.
